We were warmly welcomed to Vienna by our hosts the Austrian Workers Compensation Board (AUVA). Professor Charles Bombardier provided the fifty seven delegates from Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA and Austria with an exceptionally thought provoking Keynote which spoke to the Conference theme of “Treating depression and fostering adjustment following spinal cord injury”. This conference was dedicated to our founding Secretary, Mrs Linda Hall, who had unexpectedly passed away a few months prior.
